Nigel was born on January 25th 1991 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. 2002: Dutch National Junior Karting – Champion. 2003: Dutch National Junior Karting – Champion. 2003: Belgian National Cadette Karting - Champion 2004: Dutch ICA Junior Karting - Champion. 2005: European ICA Junior Karting – Vice Champion. 2005: German ICA Junior Karting – Champion.
2008: Formula Renault 2.0, Northern European Cup – v. Amersfoort Racing | NL. 2008: Formula Renault 2.0, Italian Championship – v. Amersfoort Racing | NL. 2009: Formula Renault 2.0, Eurocup – MP Motorsport | NL. 2009: Formula Renault 2.0, Northern European Cup – MP Motorsport | NL. 2010: GP3 Series – RSC Mücke Motorsport | DE. Entering the highest class of Karting at the age of 15, he again won his first race at WSK (World Serie Kart) level in Italy. May 8th 2010, Nigel made history to become the first ever driver to take Pole Position in the newly formed GP3 series at Circuito de Cataluña, Barcelona, Spain. May 29th 2010, again Nigel was capable of driving the fastest lap for the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park, ensuring another Pole Position spot for race 1. |
